Infelizmente faleceu o lendário trombonista jamaicano Ronald ´´Nambo´´ Robinson,na noite do dia 24 de janeiro de 2017....
Ronald "Nambo" Robinson,que frequentou a lendária Alpha Boy´s School foi um  músico veterano, vocalista, percussionista e gravador na Jamaica.
Era reconhecido entre seus colegas como um dos trombonistas mais importantes da Jamaica.   Gravou com vários artistas como Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Jimmy Cliff, Lauryn Hill, Gregory Isaacs, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Beres Hammond, Shaggy e Buju Banton. Também se apresentou ao vivo com  Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, The Four Tops, Lloyd Parks and We the People, The Tony D'Acosta Affair, The Boris Gardener Happening, Light of Saba e Mystic Revelation of Rastafari.
Recentemente Nambo lançou uma série de shows que apresentou jovens músicos da Jamaica,e estava bastante ativo...
 Ele faleceu pacificamente na Jamaica em sua casa,  RIP,rest in Power...

O trombonista jamaicano Ronald ´´Nambo´´ Robinson ou simplesmente Nambo é um músico muito experiente..

Atuando desde a década de 1970, Nambo já tocou com nomes como Black Uhuru,Bunny Wailer,Burning Spear,Culture,Barrington Levy,Delroy Wilson,Carlton Livingston,Earl Chinna Smith,The Gladiators,Gregory Isaacs,Dennis Brown,Freddie McGregor,Leroy Smart,Mighty Diamonds,Mutabaruka,Pablo Moses,Peter Tosh,I -Roy,Sly and Robbie, Twinkle Brothers,Yellowman,Jimmy Riley e dezenas de outros artistas mundialmente conhecidos.

Além do trombone,sua especialidade,Nambo também toca outros instrumentos de sopro como o trumpete e o saxofone e outros intrumentos como percussão e participa do grupo de músicos de metais ´´Rass Brass´´..

Nambo também é vocalista e produtor musical,e produziu o disco da Taxi Gang de Sly e Robbie,banda que também participa,denominado ´´Taxi Gang- Electro Reggae em 1986.
Como artista solo Nambo gravou algumas músicas como ´´Spirit of Love´´ e Dean Fraser e Nambo Robinson ´´ Idi Amin´´  (7")...
