Era também baterista e foi líder dos grupos Tower Tornados e The Sharks,depois trabalhou com Sonny Bradshaw..Em 1965 fez sua estréia com eles no Calabash Club e tocou no Lucayan Beach Hotel em Bahamas..
Na sua volta para a Jamaica,fundou o Tower Tornados..
Lloyd Robinson também participou do grupo The Virtues como vocalista,e gravou vários singles ,alguns em parceria com artistas como Rico Rodriguez,Sound Dimension,Winston Francis,Roland Alphonso,Lloyd Charmers,The Melodians,The Ethiopian,sAlton Ellis,Eric Frater,entre outros..
